I made this cross-stitch to celebrate the life of As Seen on TV Pitchman, Billy Mays. His passing was very sad to me, as I was a fan, and also worked on a number of his products websites at work.

I found a gif image online of Billy's face, that I printed out. Then I found thread colors to match. So one pixel on the image = one stitch on the cross-stitch.

I started this a long time ago in 2009, got sick of working on it, and pulled it out of my craft shelves recently to finish it. It is now framed and hanging in my office.
