The Enchanted Bunny is a Plush Artwork that I made for my friend Adrienne,
for her birthday.

The design is based on an image that she created for her website: http://www.theartofadrienne.com/

I had a lot of fun sewing all the tiny details, it turned out quite enchanted looking!

This is the inspiration image:

THIS IS HOW I MADE IT:

The beginning - the Bunny’s face and my fav pair of scissors!

Add some stuffing...

Sew on the ears…

Designing the face details

Made the body...

Sewed on the dress, the dress trim and beaded a little gold necklace.

Bought a wooden box and took it apart.
Put the hinges from the lid on the other side to create the couch.

The box structure is ready for upholstering.

Sewing the couch cover onto the wooden box.
(The Easter Bunny “Jumble Bug” is in the background too.)

Stitching up the side of the couch.

Started cutting out and sewing the little ivy leaves.
I love my craft room!
Truth be told, 95% of this plush art was created
sitting on our sofa watching seasons 2 and 3 of Lost.

This one is quite similar to the last photo.

Started sewing ivy onto the green couch, and some flowers
(to match the inspiration photo).
Enchanted Bunny is sitting on her couch, on our couch.

Added in more details, an adorable little garden gnome,
2 palm trees, an old fashioned type of clock sitting on top of a waterfall.
This has me wanting to create more ‘scene’ type plush artworks.
I think some sort of zombie scene is on my list of things to make!

The finished piece! I forgot to take more “progress” photos,
I got caught up in sewing and watching TV…

Close up on the bunny's face.

Close up on the garden gnome, he looks like a nice sort of fellow!

Close up on the deer and the old fashioned looking factory/house.

Close up of the waterfall.

Extreme close up of the clock.

Close up on the beaded necklace and Rabbit face.

Close up on the dress trim details.

Close up on the beaded shoes.
