I love the Ken Follet book "Pillars of The Earth" and I've just finished watching the TV mini series based on this story. It's awesome! So I am now making the cast as plush toys... Here is Bartholomew. Earl of Shiring, Bartholomew is a strong supporter of Maud’s right to the throne. His conspiracy against Stephen’s usurpation of the crown is the cause of his downfall and his children’s, Aliena and Richard, dire suffering. A brave man, he fights William in defense of his earldom and would sacrifice his own fate for that of his people and the welfare of his children. He gets beheaded. D'oh! |
